We are currently seeking nominations for the following PTSA positions: President, Vice President of Programs, and Treasurer. In the Plum Grove PTSA, positions are typically held for two consecutive years. These three positions need to be filled in May 2010. All PTSA members are eligible to nominate someone for any position. There is no limit to the number of candidates you can nominate. You may also nominate yourself. All comments or nominations will be kept strictly confidential per PTSA guidelines. Please complete an Executive Committee Nominating Recommendation Form. Place a completed form in a sealed envelope and put it in the PTSA nomination folder/box in the school office or e-mail it to Barb Downing at bldowning@comcast.net by February 1, 2010.

The Plum Grove PTSA holds meetings each month at the school. These meetings are held at 12noon in the LRC (Learning Resource Center, aka "Library"). Our PTA meetings are open to all members. See schedule below:

Monthly meetings are attended by general members, executive officers, committee chairpersons, the building principal, the building assistant, and two teacher representatives. Committees are added, merged or disbanded as needed.

PTSA Membership: Here are some excellent reasons for joining PTSA. PTSA supports school programs like: Welcome Back Picnic, Roller Skating Party, WOW Day, Directory, Motivational Speakers, Calendar, School Play or Kaleidoscope Day, and sponsors all school dances: Fall Dance, Spring Dance, and 8th Grade Graduation Celebration.
