Each year, Illinois students who are talented in and passionate about mathematics, science and technology are invited to enter the sophomore class at the Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy. Located in Aurora, in the high-tech corridor 40 miles west of Chicago, IMSA is an internationally-recognized pioneering institution created by the state of Illinois to develop talent and leadership in mathematics, science and technology.
